Our Management: 
Our does are fed a 16% sweet feed, hay, free choice browse on walks up our mountain trails and free choice minerals. The pregnant does receive selenium supplements the last two months of their pregnancy until they kid as well as a CDT booster. In the past we bottle raised our kids from out tested negative CAE herd.  Everyone was tested negative before we moved here and has tested negative again in January 2024. The past two years we have moved back to dam raising while we finish building what we need on the farm.  Our hay barn is done, now our focus on working on our driveway so we hopefully will no longer be washed out and flattening an area to build our house/kitchen.  Kids are weighed weekly and given calf pro for the first 3 months.  Kids and goats have free choice of hay, browse, and grain. We do not deworm on a schedule, only as needed, and honestly only one goat has been wormed this year since we moved here in 2021. Our herd is extremely healthy due to the quality of care they receive.
