About Our Herd

Our Management:
Our does are fed a 16% sweet feed from Farmers Co Op, quality alfalfa hay, and free choice ADM minerals. The pregnant does start getting vitamin E supplements the last four weeks of their pregnancy until they kid. Our kids are bottle raised on the CAE negative (tested yearly) colostrum and milk from our does. We put Calf Pro, a coccidiostat, in their milk starting when they are one week old, and they have free choice of alfalfa hay and grain. We do not deworm on a schedule, only as needed, and that is not very often. Our herd is extremely healthy due to the quality of care they receive.
